Marlo was already here when I got home from work today, and she bought me a burrito from Budgie’s. Budgie’s is a new place on Kingsway just north of Broadway, and they sell super fat burritos full of healthy fixings for $6 including tax. YUM! I don’t know why they’re called Budgie’s though. For some reason that name bugs me. Maybe it’s because it reminds me of budgies. Be that as it may, try it out if you’re in the area.

Yeah, I don’t like the name either. I don’t like business names that end in S in general, though. Winners and Chapters and Starbucks and Milestones and Denny’s and Sears and McDonalds. People are so conditioned to it that they start adding esses to place names that don’t have them, like Safeway’s and Red Robin’s. That drives me CRAZY.
