I got an email last night from Bob saying that Andrew Migliore was coming up from Portland. Andrew puts on the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival every year and as the honcho (head ~) of Lurker Films he puts out DVDs of the various indie films he screens. Volume 3 contains two of Bob’s films: From Beyond and The Terrible Old Man. Bob asked if I would be interested in being interviewed. Even though I had only a very little role in the making of these particular films, Andrew asked me a bunch of questions about Lovecraft and The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets and all that stuff, so maybe I’ll appear on the DVD’s special features. That was fun. Hopefully I won’t come across as a git. Also I got fed pizza.
In other “showbiz” news – who has heard of the cardboard tube samurai? I don’t know how much I can say about this, but I’m involved in something exciting from the Penny Arcade guys.
I’m too cheap to email you. Do you have a line on the 80s Jonny Quest show, or the one with the dude who had two short swords that turned into a Golden Lance?
i know the CTS… but then, I read Penny Arcade.
cas.
i have no idea. fill me in.
blah, why do i hear so much about lovecraft, and yet not find any of his fiction in the regional library?
Because someone stole them all.
