Have you ever noticed that in cartoons, birds like Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Henery Chickenhawk, and Woody Woodpecker rarely if ever fly? The only exception I can think of is Beaky Buzzard and any time a stork with a baby shows up.

Cartoon avian characters seem to only fly if the narrative requires them to do so for dramatic or comedic effect. Otherwise it’s cabs all the way.
